Are you an experienced Works Supervisor, looking for your next permanent role? We may just have the role for you!

We are currently recruiting for several Supervisors to join our Civils & Surfacing teams, working on contracts throughout the Northwest & Greater Manchester.

The role is predominantly site based. Your main responsibilities as a Supervisor will be responsibility for the successful delivery and supervision of all types of Kerbing, Paving, Drainage and Patching & Surfacing works. The role will also the include the supervision of sub-contractors. The successful candidate will ensure their objectives and targets are achieved leading to the successful overall delivery of the project.

You will need to be able to:


Arrange for teams to undertake works orders in a planned and safe manner and to the highest quality.
Carry out Site Inspections and report Safety Observations to our HSEQ support team.
Ensure zero accidents and ensure all teams are equipped with the necessary equipment.
Ensure all Health and Safety standards are being adhered to.
Manage teams so correct competency is chosen and allocated to sites.
Review and set gangs targets and minimise costs and unnecessary waste.
Planning, programming, and delivery of programme of works.

It is preferred that the successful candidate will have:


SSSTS
NRSWA Supervisor card
Gold CSCS card
Experience in construction and all Carriageway and Footway works
Experience in Highways Maintenance
A valid UK full Driving Licence.

We are also open to other candidates who have site experience and are willing to learn and take up the training provided.

A salary between £40,000 to £60,000 is on offer, depending on the candidate skills and experience. We could also offer further incentives such a private health care, bonus, holiday entitlement and a contributory pension scheme.
